Sir Guy has been publicly active in the lifestyle for almost two decades.  During that time he has been honored in several ways.  He is an Emeritus Board member of The Eulenspiegel Society and has served as its’ Media Representative and chair of its Community Relations, Social Activities and Volunteer Committees. He served MAsT Metro New York as its Director, Assistant Director and Facilitator for several years. He won the 2007 TES Dominant Men/submissive women Literary Contest.  He has been a director of The Leather Town Hall and the New York Leather Weekend.   He held the 2012 New York Metro Power Exchange title and the 2013 International Power Exchange title with his then partner.  He has won the 2014 Beyond Leather Community Achievement Award.  He is also Director of The Dark Lair, a BDSM education and support group for People of Color on Fetlife and Facebook.  

 

Sir Guy delivered the keynote address at Beyond Leather 2014, and the "Our Traditions Live" speech at Master/slave Conference 2015, Sir Guy was winner of the 2014 Beyond Leather Community Achievement Award and the 2005 TES Dominant Men/submissive women's Literary Contest, served as head judge of the Western Canada Power Exchange Contest 2015 and nominated for the Pantheon of Leather Man of the Year award among others. He was selected as a historian for the Leather History Preservation Weekend in 2019. He is the author of a uniform themed erotic collection featuring People of Color and contributing author to the anthology Our Lives, Our History: Consensual Master/slave Relationships from Ancient Times to the 21st Century. published by MTTA, Inc. He has also contributed a chapter to Raven Kaldera's latest book, Mastering the Art of Mastery. Interviews with Sir Guy also appear in Dr. Gloria Brame’s, A Different Loving Too.

 

As a BDSM educator, Sir Guy has presented at close to 50 variety of conferences, groups and organizations.  He has presented at TES, Beyond Leather 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7  and was the Keynote Speaker at Beyond Leather 7, Black B.E.A.T. 2009 Survivor Saturday, Black B.E.A.T. 2014, Black Rose 2006, BOLD 2014, Brimstone II, III, IV, and VI, Bucks County Power Exchange, Conversio Virium, Dom Sub Friends, BDSM Writers Con, Feel Me Breathe, Fem Domme Circle, GMSMA, Leather Leadership Conference 2014, L.I.F.E. in Nassau, Long Island Leather and Roses, Knot for Everyone (KFE), TES Fest, Niagara Fetish Friends, several MAsT chapters, ONYX New York/New England, ONYX Blackout 2012, The Society, The Floating World 1, 2 and 4, Transcending Boundaries Conference 2014 and many others.

 

He has been interviewed by various media outlets on BDSM, including the New York Times, Huffington Post, Relapse magazine, Pride Equality radio WWRL 1600 AM, Relapse magazine, Esquire magazine and foreign media like Le Monde newspaper.  

 

Professionally, he has been a NYC police officer, security consultant and an EMS supervisor at Ground Zero at 9/11 and in the Hurricane Katrina rescue and recovery efforts.
